BeardowAdams, Inc. Record sales and US investment program
During the second half of the year and moving through 2020 Beardow Adams’ plan is to invest in people, equipment and capacity. Stage one of Beardow Adams’ capital investment program, aims to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Following on from a record sales year in 2018 and progressive growth through the first half of 2019, BeardowAdams, Inc. is taking steps to ensure its foothold as one of North America’s premier hot melt adhesive producers.
Manufacturing out of Charlotte, NC, BeardowAdams, Inc. is already home to 5 production lines, giving tens of millions of pounds (lbs) production capacity annually. These latest enhancements, due to commence in Q3 2019 targets the heating efficiency of the manufacturing lines. By installing this new equipment it allows the manufacturing lines to heat up and maintain temperature quickly, ultimately reducing start-up times and the period needed between production runs.
